it's officially friday which means my last plan didn't work out too well. c'est la vie.

I'm going to do my best to get on the blog bandwagon again. to be honest, I really miss LiveJournal. That feels like my blog home. It's strange how I feel sentimental with an internet page. I was doing so well on blogspot for a while, and then it sort of ceased to be. I think everything in my life has become something that is short and mediocre. One of the things I've learned here in Seattle is that I have a lot of trouble sticking with things I feel passionate about, thus I end up doing them half fast with little to no ddevotion. This blog is an awful example, but other things pertain to this statement. Things like music. I simply give up on them and feel no remorse. Why can't I miss the things that once ruled my life?
I essentially define a with person with commitment issues, which worries me if I ever get a serious boyfriend. ha. But I don't think that'll happen anytime soon. Anyways, the point is, slowly but surely, I'm growing up. i need to get it together and stick with something. It's the right thing to do in life, and I fear of ultimately choosing the wrong path.
Well, with that said. I'm going to try to blog everyday for the next month. Vamos a ver.

it's cool knowing i have friends all over the world now. they are so nice. i'm lucky to have met them. they made me seattle experience unique and fun.

Prvi Maj--the first of may, was really fun. it's a holiday celebrated amongst the world (except in the united states, of course) but in the balkans they kick it off with a picnic. i went with a seattle bosnian family to the beach! i learned about bosnian history and decided that i understand serbian.

good food and fun people. it was one of my favorite days in seattle thus far. :D

I woke up and it was sunny. I did my hair in honor of the sun because i haven't done my hair in foreverrrrr in fear of the rain.

By 5 it begins pouring and i'm on the totally other side of campus. UGH!

hello blog!!!!
sorry about not having posted in ages! i feel guilty because i check other people's blogs regularly, yet never post myself. shame on me.
well,
life has been spectacular lately. i don't even know where to begin!

in fact, it's a little overwhelming thinking of how to recap that past couple of weeks on here. so i'll try to get the most important parts.

Jia moved out. she didn't tell me, or the RA, or anyone for that matter. one sunday i came home from the gym, and all her stuff was packed. all she said was "i'm moving."
it was a strange goodbye.

so i invited olimpija to be my roommate. she was having major issues with her last roommate and she's pretty much my bestie over here, so i figured, what the heck!? i knew if i were having problems with my roommate, she would do the same thing.
inviting her to my room was a wise move!
EVERYTHING is happy now! she brings flowers home that she picks around school and puts them on the desk. we dance to fun Balkan music and get dressed up to go out now. we chat. we watch sex and the city and eat ice cream. we study. i looooooove having her as a roomie! it's amazing.

and our room is the most adorable thing ever now! it has SO MUCH MORE character. look at our desks:

i love coming home now. i actually call this dorm a home now. haha sillyz.

my cousin came to town this weekend too! i looove her.
I HAD ONE OF THE BEST WEEKENDS OF MY FREAKING LIFE.
i don't want to say everything that happened. i've told basically everyone that reads this blog already and i don't want to get others jealous. :P

but seriously, you should envy my coolness.

the fates have been working out for me and today, after almost five months of seeing him seemingly EVERYWHERE (!!!) i got him to laugh. that's a big step.

the next time i see him somewhere in this city maybe i'll even talk to him. :P
but don't you think it's strange that i keep running into him throughout different parts of the city? i do!


classes have been going well too!

this fall, i am applying to study in oaxaca mexico. it's not official yet, but omg, pray that they accept me!

well i got a haircut. i wanted to look different than anyone else. my hair was pretty bland. so i got bangs!

otherwise, not much is happening.

my goal this weekend is to write 3 short stories--one for friday! one for saturday! one for sunday!!!!!!
